I'm Getting the "VENT" Notice, can I fix it?

The "VENT" notice may appear on the display screen during slow cook or sear/sauté when you have the pressure lid on and the pressure valve is not vented to release any build up of steam. To fix this, simply turn the pressure release valve to vent and release any build up of steam and the "VENT" notice should go away. 

If you aren't using the lid and are getting the "VENT" notice, try unplugging the Ninja Foodi. Let it cool down and then plug it back in. If that doesn't fix the problem, then you will need to contact Ninja Kitchen because it sounds like an electrical issue.
